Addy Kleijngeld was verantwoordelijk voor de grote successen van zowel Gert Timmerman als van Hermien van der Weide, hij kan als ontdekker van beide artiesten worden aangemerkt en schreef en componeerde vele nummers voor hen, en was jarenlang hun producer.
Door de jaren heen bij CNR verschenen er tientallen singles en langspeelplaten waarvoor Addy Kleijngeld verantwoordelijk was, en dan als orkestleider, tekstdichter, componist, accordeonist en zeker als producer !
Ook hier was Addy de producer, de opname vonden al plaats in 1968 en dit viel onder het laatste produktiewerk van Addy, want doordat hij het te druk kreeg met zijn ontdekking Heintje kwamen de reguliere produktiewerkzaamheden onder druk te staan, de tijd ontbrak domweg.
Zoals gezegd vonden de opanmen van deze zwarte schijf plaats in 1968, de plaat ( LP ) zelf verscheen in 1969 en lag in het voorjaar in de diverse platenwinkels, dit nummer "Texas troubadour" is er dan ook van afkomstig.
Er verschenen ook enkele nummers van deze langspeelplaat op single, zo ook dit nummer ( UH 10076 ) dat kwam begin 1970 op de markt, maar werd dus al in 1968 opgenomen en stond dus al in 1969 op deze plaat geperst.
