How about a nice short film for your entertainment? Today we would obviously perceive the raven as a victim, not a villain, but this shouldn't stop us from enjoying this classic.
The German version "Hans Huckebein, der Unglücksrabe" was first published in 1867. The original text and imagery by Wilhelm Busch (1832–1908) are in the public domain.
Exclusive English translation:
As the only English translation I was able to find was created in 1995, it is not public domain and couldn't be used. Therefore, I created my own translation - of which I am quite proud off. So, please be aware that all rights for this translation lie with me and cannot be used without my written permission.
