The barbell back squat is one of the three powerlifting exercises, however there are two versions of the squat based on where the bar rests on your back (see my video titled The Difference between the High-Bar and Low-Bar Back Squat for further explanation). Whether you’ve determined that the low-bar back squat (also referred to as a suitcase squat) is the most ideal squat set-up for you, or just want to try it, this video will show you how to successfully set up and execute it.
