The Largo Argentina archaeological site is an important Republican-era sanctuary with four temples dating between the third century BC and the first century BC. The pavement was restored after the fire of AD 80, and behind temple B is a portion of the curia where Julius Caesar was assassinated on the Ides of March. The site has two huge public latrines, and the site is teeming with cats, Rome's most famous cat sanctuary! The site has been neglected for decades, but, noww finally, the city is actively restoring the site, with the help of Bulgari, to make it accessible once again. In addition, there will be an elevator, an on-site museum, new walkways and more. Take a walk with Darius around the site to see the work in action and the proposed images of what should be complete by spring 2022! Conservation work in progress in the heart of Ancient Rome!
