BELIEVE IN YOUR PURPOSE!
Hey guys-
I wanted to make this video because I know a lot of us suffer with lack of sleep and morning issues. All of this can hold us back from achieving our goals, because, if we can't feel good about what we are doing and where we are going, how can we go about changing ourselves for the better? This is why I wanted to make another workout video featuring some beneficial stretching movements for as soon as you wake up...
Think about it; your body has been stagnant for however many hours you've been sleeping. You are going to feel stiff, you are going to feel groggy, you are going to feel like you need to "stretch" in effort to get that relaxing, satisfied feeling. This is where I come in- these are movements than can SPIKE your energy levels, as SOON as you wake up! You can do these outside, or inside, just find a comfortable soft surface and get to work! I would really gear your stretches towards the "burn" because that is when you know it will work. We all have different bodies and different postures, so it is important to know not every single stretch will feel natural but if you feel that burn, you know it is working!
TIP* Top off this movement grouping with a heart-pumping exercise like push-ups, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, burpees, etc.
TIP* Proper breathing throughout these movements is imperative. Make sure for each exercise you know when to inhale and exhale!
TIP* Make sure you drink a glass of water before and after your stretch session. Hydration is just as important as anything else!
SETS OF BREATHS:
WOMEN: 5-10 for each stretch
MEN: 10-15 for each stretch
