Welcome back to my shiny Kyogre hunt in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond!
For this hunt I am soft resetting to encounter a shiny Kyogre at full odds!

It may be a loooooong hunt so sit back, relax, lurk, play this in the background and keep me company in chat as we await the appearance of this awesome shiny!

🟣Some things to know about the hunt🟣

Some streams may have me on facecam giving commentary, some streams may just have gameplay… in addition some streams may be long and others short. Overall don’t expect me on camera talking for every encounter. I just want to be efficient, and if that means doing a quick 1 hour of resets while I personally watch YouTube in the background then I have no problem with that.
My goal is to have every encounter documented, including the shiny one!

Why am I hunting shiny Kyogre? Well there are three reasons why I was motivated to do this hunt:

When I was younger, maybe about 12 or 13 years old, I had Pokemon Alpha Sapphire on my 3DS and had progressed to make it to Kyogre, the legendary Pokemon of that game. But… I was a clueless pokemon player and assumed the pokemon battle was a “Boss Battle” of sorts and I KO’d Kyogre 😅

Secondly, back in 2022 when I was hunting for shiny Dialga in Brilliant Diamond, my best friend was also hunting for shiny Kyogre in his Shining Pearl game. He had started his hunt before mine and was a big reason why I decided to livestream my Dialga hunt… He ultimately gave up on getting shiny Kyogre. So I’ll do it in his honor 😂

Lastly, shiny Kyogre has the color palette of purple, white, and red accents… which will perfectly match the Master Ball. So what better Pokemon to catch with said ball but Kyogre? 😁

As for tracking the hunt, I will not be tracking each and every encounter like I did with my Dialga hunt. I will only be tracking how many hours I have been hunting for Kyogre and this total will be updated at the start of every stream.
