A beautiful day it was last Saturday at the Cosanostra Skatepark in Chelles, maybe too hot to organize an event indoor at a temperature of almost 30°C but the kids didn't care.
Free drinks, hamburgers and good vibes made that everyone had a great time.
At the end 115 riders from all over the country entered the contest and raised the temperature inside even more once the first heats of the" 14 and under" division started.
The 3 zones where killed by all of them.
5th place went to Maceo Moreau who was cruising the park consistent with on every section some nice flips and grinds. On the pyramid it was Romuald Link from la Réunion who landed every flip he had in mind and ended with a flip-board-slide on the rainbow-rail and a well deserved 4th place.
Thanks to his crazy miller-flips and airs on the transition-zone, the 3rd place went to Robin Boulian from Lyon.
George Pool from Hossegor did some stylish tricks on the transition-zone and long grinds on the rail-zone and got a well deserved 2nd place. But at the end it was Joseph Garbaccio who went back home to Le Havre with the victory!
or the +15 we changed the pyramid-zone into the block-hubba-zone to make it more exiting for everyone. Romain (1st), Dimitri (2nd), Carl (3rd), Guillaume (4th) and David (5th) are the lucky-ones to get an invitation for the finals in Copenhagen.
The open Pro/Am division skated mainly on the rail-zone.
The session was getting crazy, so crazy that some of the guys forgot to skate the other zones and if you came over to win, than it's important to skate all of the zones.
Luckily most of them didn't cared because they came over for a good skate-session and good vibes Joseph went gnarly with being the first guy to slide up on the long rail, did some gnarly tricks down the blocks and on the hubba and won the open division, Pierre Damien ended 2nd thanks to his pop-shovit-late-flip and a bunch of other nice tricks, Thomas and Victor followed with the 3rd and 4th place... we'll see you all hopefully in Copenhagen!
Victor couldn't believe his eyes when after ending 5th in the open division he received the "Hype of the day award".
He was so hyped that he was one of the guys forgetting to skate the other zones in the open division, landed every trick he had in mind first try and ended the day with a crazy 360-flip boardslide down the big rail...
Prize ceremony went down followed by a good old product toss and a smile on everybody's face.
Million thanks to all the staff from the Cosanostra Skatepark (Mathias, Mathieu and Olivier), ELECTRIC, BURN, REKIEM SKATEBOARDS, Vincent Coupeau for the photos, Loopingweb for filming and editing, Anthony Rousse, Hugo Maillard and Charles for judging and everybody else that was involved into helping us out .
