Last week I was driving around and had a little extra time on my hands and decided to give the old Triumph a bass bending. Didn`t stay long, but I hooked 2 nice bass in a short period of time. The Triumph handled it great!
It`s definitely a light medium action rod, very flexy but casts wonderfully and has a high accuracy rating.
The Daiwa Legalis 2500 reel is stellar in combination with this rod, perfectly balanced, and my blue braid sets off the ensemble nicely.
It always pays to match your shit....don`t skimp, the fish will know lol
