Is Yoshi a video game character? Absolutely. But here's the kicker. He's also a power-up. That's right, Yoshi swings both ways. Yoshi has a personality, a name and even island. But at the same time, he works as a power-up, allowing Mario to fly, toss fireballs and more. He's useful, and acts as a living, breathing power-up.
