What is the punishment of second marriage?
Section 6(5) of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961 states that a man is required to submit written permission from his first wife if he wishes to marry another woman. If a man is found guilty of violating the law, then he may be imprisoned for a year.Fine up to five thousand and if women belong to Punjab province then fine up to 5 lack(Amendment)
Every man just remember 4 marriage allow in Islam but you know if u cant justice between them then you cant get second marriage any how its a good rule because man thought that marriage is a fun.
No man, during the subsistence of an existing marriage, shall, except with the previous permission in writing of the Arbitration Council, contract another marriage, nor shall any such marriage contracted without such permission be registered under this Ordinance.
Any man who contracts another marriage without the permission of the Arbitration Council shall,
1: Pay immediately the entire amount of the dower, whether prompt or deferred, due to the existing wife or wives, which amount, if not so paid, shall be recoverable as arrears of land revenue.

A:If you think the decision of arbitration council is not correct and you think arbitration council is dominated by other party then simply file and application to District collector within 30 days and District collector decision is final.
