Follow these simple steps to remove your native plant plug from the ConeTainer.
1) Soak the cone in water for up to 5 seconds
2) Holding the cone horizontally, bring your free hand up, palm open, up next to the cone
3) Briskly tap the rim of the container against the heel of your hand once or twice and allow the native plant plug to slide out into your hand
If the native plant doesn’t slide out, lightly pinch the outside of the cone but not too much! You don’t want to break the soil away from the roots.
You will notice fibrous roots but not a root mass that you may be use to seeing in annual plants you’ve planted before.
