"Gray rhino" is a theory coined by Michele Wucker at the Davos Economic Forum Annual Meeting in 2013. Wucker believes that it is a risk of great probability and high impact, which can be foreseen to some extent, but unfortunately, people don't pay much attention to it. In this way, the “gray rhino” will launch a ferocious attack.
This theory is spreading in China. On July 16, the term was mentioned in a review of the National Conference on Financial Work. CGTN host Tian Wei spoke to Wucker to find out if there are any "gray rhinos" coming China's way.
