Shiratama (白玉) is a type of mochi, a chewy rice cake (ball). It is often served with kinako (roasted soybean flour), or anko (red bean paste/jam).
Nama Yatsuhashi (生八ツ橋) is Kyoto's famous wagashi (Japanese Sweet). It is basically a red bean paste (or white bean) wrapped with raw/unbaked glutinous rice flour or dough.
