Madrid, one of Europe's great capitals, is a city filled with exquisite art and culinary treats that are begging to be devoured. It is not only a big city but it also has a lot to offer, including the best museums, tapas places, and lovely parks.

📍Places to visit:
Gran Via (shopping district)
Templo de Debod (best sunset)
Plaza de España (large square where you can see Miguel Cervantes Monument)
Plaza Mayor (location of the annual Christmas market)
Mercado de San Miguel (covered food market few steps from Plaza Mayor)
Museo del Prado (free entrance for uni students, it is probihited to take photos inside)
Hotel Riu rooftop (experience the best views of Madrid from above while having a drink, always crazy lines here but it was worth it)
Palacio Real de Madrid (one of the largest palace in the world, photos are not allowed in any of interior rooms, book tickets online to skip the line)
Parque del Retiro (biggest park I've been to, Glass Palace is inside)
Royal Botanical Garden (went to see the Naturaleza Encendida, it was like a fairytale)

📍Where to eat:
La Paradita Tapas Bar (best tapas place, so yum and cheap)
HanSo Café (aesthetic breakfast place)
Chocolateria San Gines (best chocolate and churros place)
Dunkin Donuts (hot white chocolate mocha and glazed donut ftw)
Kyoka (the only Japanese Restaurant I've been to that has crab rangoons, iykyk)
Tiki Taco (authentic mexican and best taco place in town, also love their frozen mango margarita)
