A fire explodes north of Bluff Dale causing multiple towns to be evacuated. One town, lipan was told to evacuate around 4:30PM causing farmers to rush to gather up livestock as the smoke got closer to town. Luckily the winds shifted and pushed the fire away for lipan just miles away from town. Sadly, just south of town several homes can be seen burning (thick black smoke) as the Air Tractors made several passes to try and put out the flames. But it just wasn't enough. Once the fire made it out of the thick woods, fire Crews where able to do pre burns to help create a fire line. As of 9pm the fire was 5% contained and over 6000 estimated acres.
