In what looks to be a potentially accidental move at the station, WPVI played their highly anticipated open from the ABC O&O group wide package from Vivid Zero during today's 9 AM newscast. They used the older opens for their later newscasts, and all other graphics remained the same. Recorded Sunday, March 10, 2024.
The iconic "Move Closer To Your World" theme from Mayoham Music remains in place, as does Gabe Kunda's voiceovers which were implemented last fall.
I'll be one of just 100 people with too much time on their hands recording every show until it debuts, so keep it here for up to the minute coverage when the station debuts the look, which will be imminent.
