George was my partner in a Clipped-Wing J3 that we modified from a standard J3-C65-8F. He taught me aerobatics and safe flying and self confidence and precision and a ton of other life stuff over the 30 or so years that we were work colleagues and friends and flying and camping buddies. This interview is long, but every second of it is George - exactly as I knew him. It's about his amazing fighter-pilot flying career (he flew straight-wing F-84s in combat in Korea). He died in October 2016 - his ashes are interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. It was an honor to know George and to count him among my closest friends.
