#project50 – USM Modular Furniture Haller is turning 50. Watch a new generation of designers, artists, and architects as they rethink modularity.
From September 14 to 21, 2014, on the initiative of USM, 60 of the most talented students and alumni from some of the world’s most prestigious design and architecture schools gathered in the breathtaking setting of the Domaine de Boisbuchet in southwestern France. Together with eight leading design thinkers and tutors, two curators, and one «Observer», the students were asked to «rethink the modular». This workshop was the starting point for an ongoing collaborative project. The students’ work will be exhibited in one of the must-see events during the 2015 Milan Design Week. This anniversary initiative from USM will conclude in the publication of an inspiring book.
