The good news is that there are several things you may do at home to reduce swelling and discomfort.

They'll be able to determine the particular source of the swelling and suggest a course of action.

You can try the following 5 home remedies for swollen gums right now.
1st, rinse with saltwater.
A saltwater rinse can help relieve gum irritation while also hastening the healing process.
8 ounces lukewarm tepid water plus 1 teaspoon salt
Use this saltwater solution to rinse your mouth for 30 seconds.
Don't swallow it; spit it out.
Repeat this procedure 2–3 times per day until the edema subsides.
Compresses, both warm and cold
Your sore gums will benefit from warm and cold compresses to alleviate pain and swelling.
Squeeze out any extra water after soaking a clean washcloth or towel in warm water.
For about 5 minutes, place the warm towel on your face outside of your mouth, not on your gums.
Hold a bag of crushed ice against your face for about 5 minutes wrapped in a clean washcloth or towel.
2 to 3 times more, repeat the warm/cold cycle.
For the first two days after discovering sore gums, do this two to three times a day.
Turmeric Paste is a paste made from the root of the turmeric plant.
Curcumin, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound found in turmeric, is present.
Turmeric has been used for ages as a pain reliever.
Combine a modest amount of warm water and a powdered type of turmeric.
Mix until you have a paste-like consistency.
Apply a small amount of the paste to the sore gums directly.
Allow for a few minutes of application before rinsing.
To assist relieve swelling and pain, apply the paste as often as necessary.
Peroxide (H2O2).
Red, painful, or swollen gums should be thoroughly washed with a water and hydrogen peroxide solution using only food-grade, 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, according to state health departments across the United States.
3 tbsp. hydrogen peroxide (3%) + 3 tbsp. water
For around 30 seconds, swish the liquid in your mouth.
Don't swallow it; spit it out.
Repeat this procedure 2–3 times per week until the edema subsides.
5. Aromatherapy.
Essential oils are found in many medicinal products due to their numerous health advantages.
Essential oils can also be purchased to make one's own treatments.
Clove, oregano, and peppermint essential oils all have anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, and anti-circulation qualities.
To relieve gum swelling and pain, prepare a spray with essential oil and water.
To make the spray, fill a clean spray container halfway with water and 4 to 5 drops of essential oil.
Using a spray bottle, spray the mixture directly on the sore gums.
