Quick list of 10 ways to check if your 2nd generation Apple Airpods Pro are fake. These are the ones released in 2022:

Summary:
1. Check if the lanyard loop on the right side of the case is metal or plastic (metal is real)
2. The indicator light is brighter on the real case
3. Try controlling the volume by swiping up and down the stem (the real ones can control volume and will vibrate when you swipe)
4. The real case will play sounds when you start charging, or if you use Find My Devices it can play a sound to help find it
5. Using Find My Devices, you should be able to use the nearby search feature that has a big green screen with an arrow to point the direction its in when nearby
6. Check the font on the box (watch the video to see what the real looks like)
7. Check the packaging mold inside the box to make sure its a hard cardboard
8. Make sure the extra buds can be stuck to the paper packaging
9. Make sure the extra buds can be swapped easily onto the actual Airpods earbuds
10. For US customers, some thoughts on the where you bought it from and what the realistic prices are
