Many are familiar with the universe Warhammer 40000, which means you know who the space marines are, the loyal subjects of the emperor of mankind. But the first and most numerous fighters of the imperium are the Imperial Guards.

Despite the large amount of equipment at the disposal of the Imperial Guard, its main resource is the almost infinite number of people it can provide to achieve its goal. The number of killed is completely insignificant if it helps win the battle; where the Space Marines send a hundred of their warriors, the Guard can send tens and hundreds of thousands. Of course, a Guardsman is no match for the combat power of a Space Marine, but their numerical superiority more than compensates for this.
