Daniel Souvigny, right, challenged Tom Brier to play Scott Joplin's 1899 hit "Maple Leaf Rag" in all 12 major keys. Daniel is joined midway through by Max Keenlyside, who has famously played this rag in two different keys at the same time on two differently-tuned pianos ( [ Ссылка ] ).

Max then suggests playing the rag in waltz time (three-beat rhythm). Later, Tom throws them off by switching to a half-and-half (five-beat rhythm), then switches to a compound march meter (6/8 time) before returning to five beats.

This was during the afterglow party following the 2014 West Coast Ragtime Festival in Rancho Cordova, California.
