Bedfordshire police say an egg is believed to have been thrown in the direction of King Charles during a walkabout in Luton town centre.

Footage shows security steering the monarch away from crowds and what appears to be a smashed egg can be seen on the ground. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of common assault and was being held in custody for questioning.
