Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog Series: Are these the best Cliffs in Ireland ?
After visiting the Cliffs of Moher and Slieve Leage, known as the top / best Cliffs along the Wild Atlantic way and probably the whole of Ireland we discover the Kilkee Cliffs.
We managed to find a beautiful cliff top off road parking spot and the views did not disappoint. We were treated to the most wonderful sunset and couldn't resit flying the drone. Wow we got our best cliff drone footage so far.
In fact we loved the location so much we decided to stay for 2 nights. On the second day we walked the cliff walk and we were so pleased we did. Stunning views and we were able to walk right down and get close to some serious wave action.
We even manage to see dolphins for the first time on our tour of the Wild Atlantic Way.
We absolutely loved the Kilkee Cliffs. Often people ask us where is the best place to visit along the Wild Atlantic Way or where is the best place to park. There is no doubt that the Kilkee Cliffs are way up there on the list and is possibly out top place so far.
So if you ask us are the Kilkee Cliffs the best cliffs in Ireland then the answer is yes - as you felt part of it ad you could get closer to the wave acton - but all of the famous cliffs in Ireland are special in different ways.

The Wild Atlantic Way is one of the longest designated coastal road trips in the world at over 2,500 km long. Our road trip of the Wild Atlantic Way started at the most Northern Point of Ireland - Malin Head and finished all the way at the bottom in the town of Kinsale.
The Wild Atlantic way is a road trip of a lifetime and that’s why we just had to do it and produce a travel series of vlogs of our experiences along this magical road. We saw beautiful and dramatic cliffs, stunning beaches, the best sunsets, met lots of lovely people, sung at a shanty festival and saw Ireland at it’s best. If you come to Ireland you must visit the Wild Atlantic Way - even if you can’t do the complete road trip just go and do part of it - absolutely awesome and what a road trip to start off our never ending journey around the Globe.
