🙋♂️ 🇩🇪 Today, we’re introducing Lukas Kleine-Rueschkamp, Economist and Policy Analyst in the Local Employment, Skills and Social Innovation Division at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions & Cities.
🌎 Lukas’ team work on local employment and economic development. As Lukas explains, essentially all economic issues, from recessions to major technological change, have a diverse impact within countries. Lukas coordinates the quantitative work on the transformation of local labour markets and its implications in terms of skills needs, job creation or risks of job losses. Their mission is to support national and local governments across the OECD by providing policy advice that takes into account that not all places are alike and offers actionable steps forward to contribute to local economic development, quality jobs and prosperity.
