This is Argentina, a beautiful country with one of the saddest and also the weirdest hyperinflation stories ever. Imagine living in a country where prices of goods change drastically every single hour, where your life savings lose their value overnight, where you have to cope with shortages of basic necessities and rampant unemployment.
This is what millions of Argentines have experienced over and over again for the past 80 years, as the country has suffered from chronic and multiple recurrent episodes of hyperinflation.
And this is the weird thing about inflation in Argentina, it never ends. In Argentina’s case, whatever they’ve done for the past 80 years, simply doesn’t work.
