Gayle Jessup White, a descendant of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings, shares her perspective on the exhibit, Slavery at Jefferson's Monticello: Paradox. We invite you to visit the exhibit at Dallas Fair Park's African American Museum. The exhibit details the life of our Nation's third president, Thomas Jefferson and that of the people enslaved on his plantation, Monticello. This year, the exhibit features a new centerpiece focusing on Sally Hemings, an enslaved women who bore several of Jefferson's children.
