TREVOR STEELE explains that If you are a new pilot you should ALWAYS fly with a landing spot in mind. As paramotor pilots we should always be thinking about what we would do if our motor dies. Motors die from time to time and you want to make sure you always have a good landing spot in mind.
Think in terms of zones.
Zone A - easy smooth landing zone
Zone B - not as smooth but still nice
Zone C - not great but you'll be ok
Zone D - DANGER ZONE
You should always be flying with a solid landing spot in mind!
