President Droupadi Murmu is all set to embark on a three-day visit to Assam from today.
As per the president's itinerary, Murmu is slated to land at the Jorhat airport via a special Air Force aircraft at 2 pm, where she will be received by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and other top officials.
From there, the President will be taken by chopper to the temporary helipad in Bokakhat before arriving at Kohora, where she is slated to spend the night.
During her three-day visit to the state, President Murmu will inaugurate the Gaj Utsav 2023 at the Kaziranga National Park tomorrow. She is also likely to take a Jeep safari tour of the Kaziranga National Park in the morning tomorrow.
