SHOULD YOU DECORATE YOUR CRUISE SHIP CABIN DOOR? 🚢

Kind of an American trend, but decorating your cabin door is becoming popular on lots of cruises now. So should you do it? 🎨

There's no rule against it per se.... some of the more formal cruise lines frown upon it, but you're unlikely to have anyone telling you to take it down 😱

You might get the odd miserable guest complaining though - we had a complaint when Jack put a birthday banner on our cabin door the night before my birthday! The cabin steward gave us a look which let us know it was ok to keep it on there. Thankfully most people are friendly, and it actually resulted in striking up lots of lovely conversations 🥰

If you want to decorate your cabin door I'd suggest keeping it to the more family friendly cruise lines like Carnival and Royal Caribbean (I've not tested P&O but I feel like they'd be open to it too) ✨

At the end of the day you'll always get that one person who looks for something to complain about, so ignore them and do what makes you smile! 😀
