The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline in the region of Campania, southern Italy, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno. There are 13 towns and villages on the Amalfi Coast which include Amalfi, Atrani, Cetara, Conca de' Marini, Furore, Maiori, Minori, Positano, Praiano, Ravello, Scala, Tramonti, and Vietri sul Mare.
For our trip, we landed in Naples and took the Frecciarossa fast train to Salerno, an ancient port city and commune in Campania, southeast of Naples. Salerno was our starting point for a two day journey to explore the Amalfi coast, leading to Sorrento, a coastal town facing the Bay of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula, for our return journey back to Naples.
Come join us as we explore some of the towns and villages along the Amalfi coast, including the incredible Fiordo di Furore (Fjord of Fury).
Highlights:
• Town of Amalfi
• Salerno
• Sorrento
• Fiordo di Furore
