Mine Gothi & I have been practicing the Asatru faith for almost 30 years and have raised 5 kids Asatru also. In those 30 years we have practiced Asatru solitary as an active duty Marine deployed to foreign lands, as a family living in base housing, and as Oathed members of the Gjallarhorn Kindred of San Diego. After serving 20 years in the Marine Corps and living in large populated cities, we packed up everything we had and retired to a small town in North Idaho. Sadly, we were once again back to only practicing Asatru as a family. Once you start to practice Asatru at the kindred level, you find that nothing can compare to the kinship you'll receive from it. Gjallarhorn kindred is the heart & soul of our family and now it has become the building blocks for Northwoods Kindred. July 18 2020 was the birth of Northwoods Kindred, follow us our journey as we gather together and celebrate the norse gods as our ancestors once did. We hope that our saga will give you an inside look into the inner workings & kinship on what an Asatru kindred should look like and we aim to inspire you into laying the foundation to start your own Asatru kindred.
