A video tying up a deadly salmon fly that fish can't resist during late season! While this pattern will catch salmon from opening day to closing day, fresh or resident fish, on all rivers..... it really is in it's prime from mid July onwards. The red, pink and orange make for a deadly colour combination on a dropping spate and the artic runner tail gives irresistible movement that entices even the most stubborn of salmon!
Everyone in salmon fishing has their own preferences and styles of fly so I understand a lot of here may not agree and favour different fly patterns. I would love to hear what your favourite fly is and why in the comments section.
