You in it?! Let's get it 👇
💨Ingredients:
Beef Back Ribs
Pit Boss Texas BBQ Rub
16 Mesh Black Pepper
🔥 Pellet Smoker Setup: Setting up your Pit Boss Pellet Grill is super easy for this cook! As you know, all great cooks start with 100% hardwood fuel. We recommend filling up your hopper with Pit Boss Competition Blend Pellets! This pellet blend will get the job done, and perfectly compliment this beef cook.
Next, make sure you have your upper grill rack in place. Smoking the beef ribs on the upper rack will allow us to smoke them low and slow over indirect heat. Smoking low and slow is a surefire way to get that authentic wood-fired flavor we all know and love.
Finally, you can place a sheet of tin foil underneath your beef ribs. This step is completely optional but will help keep the inside of your smoker clean throughout the cook.
👨🍳 Cooking Process: We'll walk you through exactly how to prep your beef ribs for this simple and delicious cook! All you need to do is season your beef ribs with 16 mesh black pepper and Pit Boss Texas BBQ rub on all sides - That's it!
Make sure to sprinkle an even coat of seasoning all over the surface of the ribs. We recommend starting with the 16 mesh black pepper, then following up with the Pit Boss Texas BBQ Rub. The Texas BBQ rub offers the perfect balance of sweet and savory, plus the color is unmatched!

Once you reach your desired tenderness, remove the ribs from the grill and wrap them in tin foil to rest for about 20-30 minutes before slicing in.
🔥 Smoking Time & Temperature: Smoke at 275°F until you hit your desired tenderness! For Alton, this process took about 5 1/2 hours!
😋 Taste Test: Our favorite part of every cook is the taste test! The final result is tender and delicious, just how we like it. Plus, the smoke from the Pit Boss Pro Series 1600 and the flavor from the Texas BBQ Rub takes this recipe to the next level - You have to try it for yourself!
