This is my definitive guide to everything I know and learned about update letters from my medical school application cycle. Truthfully, I can't say that I am an expert on medical school update letters. However, I also don't think you should trust anyone who says they are. This is in the "black box" category of medical school admissions. Every school has different policies, and I imagine even different members of a single schools admissions committee will have different opinions. Still, I think there are some general things that are worth knowing about update letters in this video whether it is an update letter, letter of interest, or letter of intent.
I hope you find this informative, and it helps you achieve success in your journey to becoming a doctor. Good luck, you got this!

Note: For those that are new here, I'm not a doctor (yet). I'm currently a first year medical student at Duke University.
