This car was bought as a 730iA with a kaput engine about to be scrapped. The previous owner had already started diagnosing a problem with the engine and obviously realized that it would never run again so he started to dismantle it. We put the interior back together and bolted the fenders and stuff back on and then started working on the engine. From preparing the swap until we got to this stage took 5 nights. The B35 engine was from an E24 so we had to transfer most of the parts of the old B30 engine over.
The reason that there is no radiator: We wanted to be sure the engine would run at all and to ease removal if it hadn't started in the first try.
