Brand new to tapping (also known as Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT) and struggling with anxiety?
This is the video for you!
Since you're an EFT beginner, there are a few things to know:
➤ You'll lightly tap with your front two fingers (index and middle)
➤ You can tap with either hand, even alternating between hands as you tap
➤ You'll lightly tap on pressure points on your body, in a specific sequence
➤ These pressure points are energy meridians on your body
➤ When you tap on these energy points, you're helping to release energy and calm down, easing your anxiety
➤ When you tap, you'll be moving through a series of statements, formulating in a specific way
➤ You can say these statements out loud (which I recommend) or in your head
➤ The "formula" for the EFT tapping statements is: combine the challenge in your life (in this case, anxiety) + a positive statement or affirmation
➤ You should tap regularly in order to notice an anxiety reduction
