Matthias Becker (Germany) is one of the leading choral/jazz conductors, educators, and publishers in Europe. For over 30 years he has been a tremendous advocate for vocal jazz, and his work over these years have been tremendously influential. One thing that Europe has that isn't common in the US: community vocal groups, that is, small vocal groups or choirs that meet regularly outside of any institution to rehearse and sing concerts, for FUN. (Now there's an idea!) Matthias talks about his experience working with these groups around Europe.
