WWF is leading the development and implementation of an innovative approach to sustainable financing for conservation known as Payment for Environmental Services, or PES. In Kenya PES has helped small scale farmers improve water quality and maximize productivity whilst conserving nature in the Lake Naivasha region of Kenya.
