This video is an informal questions and answers session with current company commanders. They are answering common questions they receive from the fleet to hopefully dispel some of the myths or stigmas associated with being a company commander and the Company Commander C-School.
Company Commanders are the direct trainers and supervisors of up to 120 recruits through the entire eight weeks of basic training. The goal of a company commander is to prepare a smartly disciplined, physically fit, and basically trained non-rate for service in the U.S. Coast Guard.
