While the spell dependent Disruptor is easily vanquished with Doom or silencer, invisible gankers (nyx assassin), or indeed passive abilities from the likes of PA and LIfestealer, he comes alive against escape heroes. Weaver and slark are in big trouble! But worst of all are high mobility heroes like IO or Ember SPirit who get sent straight back to base as soon as they arrive!
