In this video I'll show you how to walking the cup.
Clean the metal plate as shown in the video and mark 2 lines, approximately 10mm distance between them. First you work with the welding machine turned off to get the hand used to, a semicircular movement in the wrist, so that each movement is a step forward. Once the hand gets used to the movements, you work with the welding machine on without adding a rod. At first, until your arm relaxes, your cup will slide, but exercise will do you good.
After that you work with the welding rod by laying the welding rod on a metal plate.
Notice:
The metal plate is best to be 5 mm or thicker and about 110-120 amps, for starts.
