Theme and Subject-Matter:
Surah Qadr is also referred to as “power of fate” and it celebrates the night which the first verses of the Qur’an were revealed by Jibreel. This surah also describes significance of Laylat al-Qadr which is the “night of decree” or “night of power” which happens during the last 10 nights of Ramadan, typically an odd-numbered night.
