I give a lot of credit to Kyle with Mrrbeef YouTube channel, I often look at his videos before I do anything, but we sometimes approach things & demostrate procedures a little differently. You can do this job without removing the engine or transmission, but you must remove the driveshaft. It helped that I already had it apart because I replaced the belt, so I kind of skip that portion of the video. If you do take the charge pump off, just get both items and replace at the same time, they are likely both very old. This procedure would also apply for the 316, 318, 330, 332, 420 and 430, as they all have the same pump.
