The second generation of #Pokémon was one I had a troubled history with. Because of the new Day/Night cycle, the save battery on my copy of Gold Version ran out quickly and so I was never able to finish the adventure as a kid. As an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and there's always been this energy to Johto that feels really weird to me. I can't really explain it, but I love it. It's not as nostalgic to me as it probably is to other people, but it was such a good step up from Kanto. #Nintendo
