Vasantha Vaasal is a 1996 Tamil action romance film directed by M.R.[1] The movie stars Vijay and Swathi in the lead roles. This was a debut movie for the music director Masa and whose songs were successful. This movie showed Vijay's acting skills from the inside, where he rehearses and practises dialogues. It was heavily criticized by the media and is considered a failure.
