Ocean Beach native Deborah Ramos walks down memory lane with Conversations host Michael Klam. Ramos touches on her artistic journey from the Love-ins at Balboa Park to her ongoing role as the host of Poetry at the Grove (formerly Poetry at the Bench).
Deborah Ramos is a San Diego artist, poet and author of "From the Earthen Drum of my Body," who graduated in art, textiles, costume design and history of theatre at San Diego State University. Deborah writes about the sacred feminine, primal desires, this crumbling earth, roadkill and her cats. Her poetry has appeared in SageWoman, Rattlesnake Press, Dancing Goddess, National Beat Anthology, Border Voices, San Diego’s Writers Ink and more.
