The Philippines Army decided in early 2020 to purchase the Sabrah light tank series based on ASCOD 2 Main Battle tank and Pandur II 8x8 wheeled Tank platform it is equipped with modern technology as part of Elbit Systems' global cooperation with tier-one military platform manufacturers produced by Israel's Elbit System.
