In this video I unbox and review the McFarlane Toys Elvis Presley 1968 "Comeback Special" action figure. This likeness of Elvis recreates his appearance from the black leather "sit down" shows from the '68 Comeback Special. The '68 Comeback Special was a special that aired on NBC on December 3, 1968 in an attempt to bring Elvis back into the mainstream music scene. During the 1960s, Elvis had been busy making film after film and not very focused on performing live. The '68 Comeback Special featured many live performances such as "If I Can Dream", "Where Could I Go?" and the now infamous black leather "stand up" and "sit down" performances. This pivotal TV special relaunched Elvis' musical career and the beginning of his return to live performances. The PopComplex is celebrating Elvis' birth month all month long by unboxing all six of the McFarlane Elvis Presley figures. Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupleo, MS and became the King of Rock n' Roll and one of the most famous recording artists and musicians of all time.
