This is a Gibson Custom Shop AL-355 that I have restored. I christened it by playing Red Barchetta for this video. This guitar- AL 141, had major issues. The neck was severely warped and twisted. The truss rod snapped inside the neck and a failed attempt at repairing the truss rod left a hole in the back of the peghead. Of course when I repaired the hole I also carved a new volute in the proper location. After all repairs were done I stripped and refinished it in nitro-cellulose lacquer. I played one song on it...Red Barchetta...and then sent it home to Brazil.
